"Pure pigments and poppyseed oil are my most used art materials and mixing the colours is almost as exciting as painting itself!
My love of the seascapes of my home country, Scotland, dictates the green earth and muted blue and grey tones that usually end up on my palette, even when I’m working on figurative pieces.
Although seas and skies dominate many of my paintings, I really enjoy the challenge of capturing expressions and emotions in figurative and portrait work."
